All about Greenwich
Here at My London Taxi we are able to offer our fully licensed dedicated black cab service across London.
With so many amazing attractions to see throughout the capital; what better way could there be to explore than in a comfortable, luxurious and fully air-conditioned vehicle?
Our tours are fully bespoke and we would be proud to show you around Greenwich. What is there to see in this historical area?
The Cutty Sark
The last surviving tea clipper; the Cutty Sark is a must see for those who are interested in the maritime world. Not only is it fascinating from the outside, but once you step inside you will be transported to life aboard a 19th century ship that was responsible for transporting tea from China to us tea lovers here in Britain!
The Royal Observatory
Love star gazing? If you do, then you have to pay The Royal Observatory a visit. Now a museum that attracts a number of visitors each and every year. The Royal Observatory is set across each of the hemispheres of the Earth and also boasts the UK’s largest retracting telescope too!
Don’t forget; whilst it may not be visible, Greenwich is the home of Greenwich Mean Time; the base point of every time zone across the world. That has to be something that you can tick off your list of things to visit.
The National Maritime Museum
The largest museum of its kind in the world; here you can learn all about the history of life at sea for British people. This includes the Royal Navy and gives you an insight into the life of Admiral Horatio Nelson!
Not only has the o2 arena been a feature of many a film over the past few years (James Bond, anyone?), it is also home to some of the worlds biggest concerts and shows. The o2 structure in itself is fascinating, a man made iconic marvel that really does make an impression on the landscape. If you want to get an up close and personal look at the o2 then you can even book in on your own tour of the building – we can help with this.
Not only do we offer bespoke tours – taking in all the sights of Greenwich, but we can also provide you with a business transfer service too. Our large vehicles can also transport you across the rest of London, making sure that you don’t miss any of the fascinating sights that are scattered throughout the capital. Our air conditioned Mercedes Vito has disabled access and it great for seeing the sites.
